Contract House LLC was built on a simple observation: technology had already made it faster and less expensive to produce high quality legal work, and that benefit was going entirely to law firms instead of clients.

Maxwell Holland and John Feeney both practiced at traditional firms before co founding Contract House. They watched AI drafting tools cut the time it took to produce a contract by half, and watched the same hourly invoice go out the door anyway. They saw partners insist that clients were paying for experience, not speed, while associates manually copied boilerplate from deals a decade old. Neither model was serving the small business owner who needed a solid contract and could not afford to find out what that would cost at the end of the month.

Contract House was built for that business owner. For the founders, the freelancers, the small practice owners, and the independent contractors who need real legal work done at a price that actually makes sense. The name says it all: a house, a permanent resource, an in house legal team for businesses that have never been able to afford one.
